Region: Southern Rhone
Grapes: 50% Grenache Blanc, 35% Viognier, 15% Clairette
First Glance: Apricot, White Florals, Citrus, Textural
The Wine:
From 40-50 year-old vines, yielding only 34 hl/ha. Hand-picked and hand-sorted, then whole-bunch pressed and settled overnight at 10°C. Cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured on fine lees for 4 months.
Brilliant light yellow with golden reflections. On the nose it is delicate and soft with candied apricot, yuzu and lime, along with light white florals. The palate is structured and fresh, with plump stone fruits, waxy texture and a citrus laden finish. Fresh, textural and elegant. Such great drinking.
